IP 20 SAFETY DOOR CONTACTS
Removable bridge safety contact, fixed contacts. Protectors for double insulation cable wiring, max diameter 6.5 mm. The AS 11 contact stands out from standard removable bridge contacts due to the absence of moving parts. The contacts are rigidly mounted in the body, while the elastic action is fulfilled by bridge PA 12 it is matched to. The new configuration supports application solutions which are impossible to obtain with standard IP20 contacts, and overall and fastening dimensions allow it to replace traditional contact types.

The maximum lateral movement allowed in order to assure the IP20 insulation is ±8 mm from the contact axis. In case the contact is installed with the opening facing up, a protection must be provided to prevent any metal parts – including foreign ones – from falling into it and coming into contact with the terminals.
